Having worked in Education for almost 10 years and seeing the growing demand placed on schools to provide mental health support for young people, I decided to use my knowledge and skills to support those who are supporting others.

As a qualified Counsellor, I have a passion for making a difference to people's lives but I discovered that is not restricted to the therapy room and can come in different forms.

With this in mind, The Yorkshire Consultancy Co. was created.

Supporting your Staff and your Students
Consultancy
Tailored support to build an SEMH infrastructure within Educational settings which can include creating and maintaining SEMH provisions, alongside staff training.
Staff Supervision
Therapeutic Supervision can be critical to help staff manage their caseload and tackle ethical dilemmas. More importantly, it helps them explore the personal impact that challenging situations have on them, therefore, promoting staff wellbeing.
Training Courses
Bespoke training courses are aimed at school staff, Counsellors or anybody wishing to look at alternative ways to open communication with children. All courses are designed for small groups and located within the beautiful grounds of Nostell Priory. Alternatively, in-house training for staff is available.
